Labor Day weekend was a busy time in downtown Elizabethtown, but for one business owner, it was their first official holiday weekend in business. Priss Pots Gifts and More is located at 119 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown beside Faith Partners Christian Supply.
Store owner, Christie Merritt, said the business offers services such as monogramming, wreaths, centerpieces, flags and bows. Merritt said she also offers customers T-shirts, purses, and a selection of jewelry. She has antique pieces available for purchase as well.
“I enjoy working with people and doing what we do,” said Merritt of her business.
The store’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Merritt said the store will be open on Labor Day Monday.
