The town of Tar Heel has a new business in town. Hardee’s, the new fast food restaurant, is not only offering food, but job opportunities for the local small town.

The West Bladen High School Band helped the new establishment celebrate by performing a small concert at their Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017.  The privately owned franchise is located at the intersection of NC Highway 87 and Tar Heel Ferry Road.

There was a large crowd drawn at the official event. Bladen County Sheriff, Jim McVicker, along with other dignitaries and citizens, welcomed Hardee’s to the community. View the video of the West Bladen High School Band on BladenOnline.com’s Facebook page.

The new restaurant has a seating capacity of 82 people according to Mayor Dew. The restaurant was taking orders from their menu while celebrating.
