Newly crowned Dublin Peanut Festival Queen, Alyssa Bell and her Royal Court

The last days of sweet summer air was celebrated in Dublin Saturday evening with an annual scholarship pageant. The newly crowned Dublin Peanut Festival Queen Alyssa Bell and her Royal Court took center stage with their bright smiles.

Congratulations to the 2019-2020 Dublin Peanut Festival Pageant (Scholarship) Winners: Tiny Miss McKenzie Antroinen, Little Miss Joanna Lambert, Jr. Miss Braeleigh Hunt, Teen Miss Anyssia Mains, and Queen Alyssa Bell.

The new Miss Dublin Peanut Festival, Alyssa Bell is a West Bladen High School senior and a Bladen Community College student. She is an award winning tennis and track star as well as a committed church leader. Miss Bell was crowned by the 2018-2019 Miss Dublin Peanut Festival, Miss Hailey Elizabeth Hudson.

After Miss Bell completes her service as Queen she will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

The Dublin Peanut Festival Pageant Royal Court will help kick off the festival this coming Saturday. The royals will be featured in the parade starting at 10 a.m. Miss Bell and her court will be waving to the crowd inviting them to enjoy the food, fun, music, rides and vendors.

The Festival begins at 11a.m. at Dublin Primary School located at 7048 Albert Street in Dublin, NC.
