Update: The Town of Bladenboro officials have lifted the Boil Water Advisory.

Bladenboro, NC – In an official announcement made by Dr. H. Blake Proctor, representative of the Town of Bladenboro Administration, and the Mayor, residents of Bladenboro are urged to exercise caution regarding their water consumption. A Boil Water Advisory has been issued due to a significant water break that occurred on Chestnut Street in Bladenboro.

Effective immediately, all residents are advised to boil their tap water vigorously for at least one minute before consuming it or using it for cooking purposes. This advisory is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of the community in light of the water break incident.

The Town of Bladenboro Administration and local authorities are actively working to resolve the issue and restore water services to its regular state. However, until further notice, it is recommended that all residents adhere to the Boil Water Advisory.

Regular updates will be provided to the public as they become available. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through the official channels of the Town of Bladenboro, including the town’s website, social media platforms, and local news outlets.
