F.W. Newton Jr., owner of F.W. Newton and Sons Mortuary in Elizabethtown is assisting in embalming or cremating the remains of COVID-19 victims across the state. Newton told BladenOnline.com staff he has assisted with the remains of over 20 victims in N.C. who died from COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Newton told BladenOnline he has been working overtime trying to help during the Coronavirus Pandemic. He was interviewed earlier Monday by WRAL. Watch the report.
