NFL Player Larrell Murchison’s First Community Fun Day Was A Success

East Bladen High School graduate Larrell Murchison hosted his first Community Fun Day on Saturday at Elizabethtown Middle School. The NFL player and Bladen County native expressed his excitement about the turnout of his event to BladenOnline. 

He stated, “It was crazy! Looking at all those people who came, I was in shock.”

Everyone had a great time, and it was an excellent display of giving back to the community. 

Murchison’s mother, Glenda, noticed that Larrell had a smile on his face the entire day. “The kids had a great time, and that is what we wanted,” she said. She also expressed her gratitude for everyone that participated and contributed to the event.

Larrell stated, “I really enjoyed it, and I can’t wait to do it again!”

Murchison played at Louisburg Junior College after graduating from East Bladen, then at N.C. State before being selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 2020 NFL Draft. He is a defensive lineman for the Titans.
