Nissan of Clinton has earned the Nissan Award of Excellence for the fourth year in a row. Nissan of Clinton owner Donnie Lamm said the award is given to Nissan for outstanding customer service.
“I am very proud of the fact we were able to win. It’s all about my people. I have got the best staff I can possibly have,” said Lamm.
Clint Hester of White Lake is the General Sales Manager for the store. Lamm said that Hester is an asset to the company with his experience.
Lamm said the company has sales staff who worked at the store for 10 years or more while some staff members have worked with the company as long as 20 years.
Lamm said he recently attended a national meeting of Nissan dealers in Las Vegas and out of 1,200 dealers nationwide, a total of 190 dealers were recognized. Lamm said in the district to which Nissan of Clinton belongs, there are 16 dealers and of those Nissan of Clinton and one other dealer earned the award.
Lamm said the dealership is on track to achieve the accomplishment for a fifth straight year.
“Forty-six percent of our business is repeat customers. That says a lot. We do our best to take care of our customers,” said Lamm.
He was also recently honored by the Clinton Rotary Club with the Paul Harris Fellow Award. Lamm said Nissan of Clinton has been in Clinton for 27 years and is a big community sponsor. Lamm said the dealership supports a lot of local high schools and churches in the area.
“We’ve been a sponsor of the Rotary Club for a number of years,” said Lamm.
He said being named a Paul Harris Fellow was avery humbling experience.
“We try to give back to the community. I’ve been very blessed at this dealership,” said Lamm.
