The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is offering business seminars in November at no cost to the participants.

*Reaching Customers this Holiday Season is scheduled for Wed., Nov. 1, from 12 noon – 2 P.M. The workshop provides tips for marketing your business during the holiday season.

*Tips to Understand Payroll and Payroll Taxes will meet on Thurs., Nov.16, from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M. Tips for Quickbook Reports follows at 7:45 P.M.

*How to Write Grants is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 18, from 9 A.M. – 12 noon, for non-profits and churches.

*The Bladen County Public Library will host The Best Business to Start in 2018 on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 6 – 8 P.M. Also at the library is Ten Tips for Getting and Keeping the Best Employees, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M.

*500 Home-Based Business Ideas is being held at the East Arcadia Center in Riegelwood on Tues., Nov. 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Online webinars are also available. 10 Google Tools for Small Business will be presented on Wed., Nov. 15, from 1 – 2 P.M. Maximize Your Google Listing will be presented on Fri., Nov. 17, from 10 – 11 A.M. Social Media Tools and Tricks will be presented on Mon., Nov. 20, from 7 – 8 P.M.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
