In a time when there is so much turmoil and division, those attending Dublin First Baptist Church’s New Year Celebration for 2016 were all in harmony. The fifth annual New Year Celebration was a perfect display of coming together in acceptance and worship.Dublin First Baptist Church held the multi-cultural celebration with entertainment from “Leap of Faith,” “The Mighty Echoes,” and Simon Ussery.
Those in attendance were from all different walks of life and churches. The message without any words spoken would have to be, “Loving each other and worshiping the Lord.”
The Rev. Cameron McGill brought a message from the book of Revelations, chapter 21, and the gentlemen providing the music brought a message with their music.
According to McGill, the church plans to continue providing this New Year’s Celebration every year.
