According to some of our readers WECT had reported the Bladen County Board of Eduction would be holding a public hearing at the Town of Clarkton meeting about the Schools Consolidation Proposal. At this time there have been no public hearings scheduled according to Valerie Newton with the Bladen County Board of Eduction.
The information reported about a public hearing on the Schools Consolidation Proposal in Clarkton was incorrect. The Town of Clarkton will hold their regular scheduled monthly meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6th.
