The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has announced that Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Road (SR 1700) will be closed for multiple crossline replacements. The closure will occur .33 miles east of Dewitt Gooden Road (SR 1705) and is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 8th at 8:00 AM.
The road is expected to reopen on Friday, July 19th at 8:00 AM. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and seek alternative paths during this period.
NCDOT appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this essential maintenance work.
