The North Carolina State Board of Elections issued a notice of Emergency Telephonic Meeting scheduled for today, Tuesday, September 10th at 6:15pm. The reason the for the emergency meeting is to consider the N.C. Republican Party’s request to extend voting in a Union County precinct, according to the NC State Board of Elections announcement.
