On Monday, September 20, 2021, the National Weather Service of Wilmington announced the weekly weather briefing. This week, the NWS reported an approaching, deepening low pressure aloft will draw a good rain northward into the area Tuesday and Wednesday.

There will be a cold front off the coast early Thursday with a cooler, drier weather pattern to follow at the end of the week.

Both tropical systems, Peter and Rose, are expected to curve north in the open Atlantic this week.
