Good morning! 3 things to know for Wednesday, October 21

1. Bladen County Hospital’s Touchdown for Life blood drive is scheduled today from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call (910) 864-5201 or visit savingliveslocally.org to make an appointment, or just show up. Rest assured you’ll be welcomed with open arms.

2. A reminder that one-stop voting — or early voting — for the Nov. 3 municipal election begins Thursday at Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown for registered voters in Bladenboro, Clarkton, Elizabethtown and White Lake. Voting times are weekdays from Oct. 22 through Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Town boards in Dublin, East Arcadia and Tar Heel opted not to participate in early voting.

3. A flu drive thru is scheduled Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bladen County Health Department in Elizabethtown. For information, call (910) 862-6900.
