2. A reminder that one-stop voting — or early voting — is wrapping up for municipal elections in Bladenboro, Clarkton, Elizabethtown and White Lake. Hours are today from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 3 for all seven Bladen municipalities, including Dublin, East Arcadia and Tar Heel.

3. Before Saturday’s Beast Fest activities in Bladenboro get underway, there will be a 5k run starting at 6:30 a.m. beginning at Town Hall. All ages are welcome to run, walk, or bring strollers. Registration is $20 for adult and $15 for ages 12 and under. For information, contact Otis Evans at (910) 549-7618.
