One of four individuals who was charged in the shooting death of 24-year-old Darrell Dionte Council has pled guilty in Bladen County Superior Court. On Wednesday, D’Nazya Sade Downing appeared before Superior Court Judge Andrew T. Heath and pled guilty to accessory after the fact in the case.
Downing is still being held in custody and she has not yet been sentenced. No date for Downing’s sentencing was available at press time.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Twisted Hickory Road and Center Road near Dublin about 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2015.
