The Online News & Advertising, LLC (dba: BladenOnline.com) staff are excited as we have launched SoutheasternTimes.com. In our efforts to keep you up to date with all of the latest news that matters to you we are expanding our coverage to include Southeastern North Carolina and Northeastern South Carolina.
“We are really excited to launch SoutheasternTimes.com. Southeastern Times was a local newspaper years ago and such an important part of Bladen County’s history and the community. We wanted to bring it back, but make it broader,” said General Manager Erin Smith.
The former owner of the past newspaper Southeastern Times, Norgie Hester, is a contributor for BladenOnline.com. He said, “I think it is a good thing.”
Many of you may remember the Southeastern Times newspaper from the days of yore. We will offer the same great coverage you have come to expect with expanded content online and in print editions.
Charlotte Smith, Owner of Online News & Advertising, LLC said, “We look forward to expanding our services and reach. We are grateful for a skillful team, avid supporters and the opportunity to grow.”
She added, “We started growing this year with more videos on our YouTube channel and adding our first print edition of Bladen County Beautiful magazine, therefore, SoutheasternTimes.com’s launch is another goal we hit this year.”
More additions and changes are coming in the new year. In the words of one of our founders, Mr. Robert Hester, “The best is yet to come.”
