Spread the love

Every Nation Education held its annual fundraiser at Cape Fear Vineyard in Elizabethtown on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Special guest, Iryna Samara, an Opera Singer from Ukraine, entertained the 136 non-profit supporters during the event.

“We raised quite a bit of money Thursday, and the donations are still coming in,” Matthew Ward, Chief Operating Officer, stated.

Every Nation Education has been a North Carolina 501 (c) (3) non-profit since 2009. Their goal is to distribute Bible keychains that contain the holy book in 96 languages in countries such as Ukraine.

Ward explained the unique back story of the talented Iryna Samara, that performed Thursday evening. Iryna and her family were in the war zone in Ukraine. Ward stated he assisted Iryna’s family to America, but Iryna had to come through Mexico to obtain a visa to enter the States. She made it through and has been helping Every Nation Education with its mission.

“Iryna distributed 100 Bible keychains to the Ukrainian people at the Mexico border,” Ward said.

Since then, they have been working toward raising $60,000 to aid Ukraine and other areas of the world. Although the event last week was successful, more funding is needed for the non-profit to reach its established goal.

All donations are tax-deductible. Donations may be mailed to Every Nation Education, P.O. Box 219, Whiteville, NC 28472, or visit their website at everynationeducation.org.

Side note: Iryna has another goal. She wants to teach children to sing classical music. Anyone interested in classical music lessons for children may email Iryna at sajuriren@gmail.com.
