Thoughts While Shaving

So far so good as we reach the midway point of the first full work week in 2019….

College football bowl games are over, I think.  NFL playoffs continue for the next few weeks leading up to Super Bowl LIII, 2019  at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., Sunday, February 3.  Game time for the 53rd edition is 6:30 p.m. Eastern time and the game will be on CBS.

Looking ahead at future sites:

2020 – South Florida, Hard Rock Stadium

2021 – Tampa Bay, Raymond James Stadium

2022 – Los Angeles, Los Angeles Stadium

Early odds favor New Orleans 3-2, followed by LA Rams at 5-1; KC Chiefs & LA Chargers at 7-1 and rounding out the top 5, the New England Patriots at 8-1.

In the meantime, high school winter sports activities continue and preparation begins soon for spring sports…

So, thoughts about last night’s presidential call to action and the opposition’s speeches?  Some prognosticators think it is all about the 2020 election….Think it obvious many employed by the US government are strugglin’ with no pay check….while our leaders bicker and say unkind things about those who think differently and continue receiving their salary.  Not sure our forefathers planned it that way…

The newly renovated, former Elizabethtown Post Office building is ready for occupancy, serving as a business incubator.  Several agencies are expected to be moving in, any day now.  Still a very few offices remain available.  Contact the Bladen County EDC office for details.
