The list of teams still in the running for Super Bowl LIII is down to four after past weekend play… Next weekend action has the New England Patriots traveling to Kansas City for the AFC championship game with the Chiefs, and in the NFC, the LA Rams will be on the road at New Orleans for a game with the Saints.
Early betting favors the Chiefs and the Rams….The Super Bowl will be played in Atlanta…..Sunday, February 3, 2019.
Question for long time local residents. Remember DooWop Dan? He was a Deejay/Program Director at WBLA/WGQR, Elizabethtown, years ago, a real broadcasting ‘pro’. He played oldies and beach. Dan Greenfield left the area, moved to Georgia and after 15 years in the broadcasting business, enrolled at Mercer University in Macon, Ga., earned a law degree and is now an attorney in Bremen, Georgia. He still does a weekend oldies and beach show on WGMI, 1440 AM. Facebook covers the world…..
