Scrolling through the weekend news…Students from Covington, Kentucky in DC for visit. There was what appeared to be a confrontation with an elderly Native American Vietnam Veteran. Investigation continues…. Most likely a full investigation that will last far too long and produce few facts.
My question would be, what should we expect? What we see on TV, hear on the radio and read in the newspapers from both political parties and their leaders is constant verbal abuse and near hand to hand combat, and few results. SAD!
Would be good for some who are less partisan to step up and be the leaders we elected them to be….This is not supposed to be a nation ruled by a dictator, or a chosen few, everyone has their own ideas, but input of many fair-minded representatives of these United States should (could) produce results that we all can live with. Maybe we should be electing better role models for us all. Disagree but respectful of the opinion of others….STOP the verbal abuse….
We appear to be a nation that needs a little loving care…..like a wooden wheel with some damaged spokes….We can repair or replace the broken spokes and continue as the leader of the free world….

Our numbers are slowly returning to where we know they should be. A few changes to our website has apparently caused some problems with tabulating numbers….example, for the week of January 6-12 we just missed out on being in All-Time Top 10 with 35,319 visits. It’s our page views that has been off a little…..the proof!
