Thoughts While Shaving

The federal government is open for business, again.

Volunteers are needed today and tomorrow to assist in renovating two dormitories at the Bladen County Emergency Training Center. (It’s a part of the former prison buildings near White Lake).  Just show up with whatever equipment you have….

Congratulations to Dr. Pearly Graham Hoskins on her retirement from Bladen County Hospital.  She will be missed….

Upcoming events include…NFL Super Bowl Sunday, February 3 in Atlanta.

Valentine’s Day, February 14 and NASCAR kicks off a new season February 17 with the Daytona 500 in Florida.

And, some really good news.  Casey Hathaway was found alive and well Thursday in Craven County.  The youngster apparently walked away into nearby woods after playing with friends.  He survived some cold weather…but appears to be OK.
