I love living in Bladen, blueberries, strawberries, fresh corn, tomatoes and so much more.

I had lunch at Cain’s Grill in White Oak yesterday, kinda like a huge family reunion.

The shooting in DC should remind us all that we should learn to disagree, agreeably.  Why should I hate someone because we do not agree on any issue.  Agree to disagree, vote your conscience, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

Remember Gene Ray Bedsole?  Bladen County native, Personnel Manager at Veedor Root, many, many years ago and little league coach back in the 70s and 80s.  Moved to Shelbyville, Tn. many years ago.  He died Monday, following a bout with cancer.  We have posted his Obit, funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Shelbyville.  He was 79 years old.
