Thoughts While Shaving

Easy for us all to complain about debt at the local, state and national level.  Ever stop and think about the amount of money received in this state, this county over the past couple of years…assistance to attempt to restore our area to where it was prior to the last couple of storms?  And, what would we do without it?  Comes in numerous ways, but mostly through FEMA.

We complain if assistance is not available and complain about it if it is….Just the nature of us all….

Budget preparation is just beginning at the local and state level for the upcoming fiscal year….and constantly ongoing at the national level….Budgets for local and state government are, by law suppose to be approved prior to July 1, annually, and they usually are.  At the federal level, suppose to be October 1, each year….seldom approved by that date regardless of political party in charge…just continue with a continuing resolution.

Spring sports beginning at all levels……preparing for a new season, while winter sports are winding down soon.  John Clark keeps us all updated on our Sports Page….

Check our Events page for info about upcoming events in the area…

Cooler weather returns later today….

Zig Ziglar quotes:

People often say, that motivation doesn’t last.  Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.

You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

You don’t have to great at something to start, but you have to start to be great at something…
