Thoughts While Shaving

NCAA action…..Virginia 63 – Auburn 62

Texas Tech 61 – 51

The Richmond, Viginia newspaper described the first game very well.  Kyle Guy made “three terrific, amazing, spectacular free throws” to win.  And I would add, he made the free throws with less than a second left in the game to pull a victory from the jaws of defeat.  Exciting…

Second game less of a thrill, except for Tech fans.

Monday’s championship game pits the two winners for the championship.  Virginia vs Texas Tech……Game time is 9:20 PM on CBS.

NASCAR action today:  Bristol Motor Speedway….Chase Elliott on the pole.

And for golfing fans, another exciting tournament….the Valero Texas Open winner will emerge this afternoon.  This weeks match in San Antonio, Texas where Kim Si-woo leads by a single stroke.  Several of the top golfers are sitting this one out, preparing for the Masters.

And in the political arena, in this corner weighing ????? is President Donald J. Trump and in the other corner, the ring not big enough to hold the challengers and we will be listening to negative rhetoric from both corners for the next year and a half..  Winner to be determined November, 2020.

More from the Penny Johnson files:

Pharmacist to customer: “Sir, please understand, to buy an anti-depression pill you need a proper prescription.  Simply showing your marriage certificate and wife’s picture is not enough.

There are 3 kinds of men in this world.  Some remain single and make wonders happen.  Some have girlfriends and see wonders happen.  The rest get married and wonder what happened!

When a married man says, I WILL THINK ABOUT IT – what he really means is that he doesn’t know his wife’s opinion yet.
