Another good story about a Bladen County youth, Cade Hancock continues his good play in the Optimist International Junior Golf play in Florida. The Elizabethtown golfer fired a 73 yesterday in the 3rd round of play for a 228 total, tied for 32nd place. He tees off today in the final round of play at 7:40 AM in a threesome that includes 2 Puerto Rican youngsters. The leader is Augustin Errazuriz from North Myrtle Beach, SC. He has a combined 211 strokes entering the last day of competition. The 16-18 age male group attracted over 150 golfers. The match is being held at the PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and features tournaments for males and females from ages 10 to 18.
