About an inch of rain recorded at the Hester household since Sunday.  From East Arcadia east, rain much more plentiful over the same time period.

The North Korean situation bears watching, constant harassment by Korean leader.  Our leader and their leader sometimes act on impulse, it seems to me.  Think Gen. Kelly is providing better guidance to our leader, good move.

Old enough to remember the Korean War?  Began in January of 1950 and ended July 1953.  Began when North Korea invaded South Korea and the United Nations approved help for South.  US was main source of defense.  Another conflict of the type North Korea is threatening could be very, very bad for all.

I have a medical procedure scheduled soon and was discussing with friends recently.  I was telling them I had spent a total of 3 nights in a hospital in my lifetime.  My plan for this trip includes a single night in the medical facility and head home early the following morning…My good friend David Shaw reminded me that, when I pull off my clothes, put on their gown and take my place in their bed, I have lost all control….and I guess that is true.
