Thoughts While Shaving

New Year (2019)…..return to original daily schedule following a couple of holidays…Life is one big adjustment, but no better example than the Christmas – New Year holidays.

Headlines have changed little over the holidays….a portion of government still closed and officials (both parties) blaming the other.  Just get it done, that’s your job…..

Bladen County youngsters return to school…after an extended break.

I remember my early school days, after the Christmas holidays, began checking the calendar to see how long before the next holiday…..not anytime soon.

About football(ed) out, some good games and more to go.  At the college level, Alabama and Clemson and in the NFL, playoffs begin this weekend….

The NCAA football championship game is set for Monday, January 7, 8 PM in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  The game will be televised on ESPN.  It’s a repeat of last year.  Alabama vs Clemson, so what is your prediction?  Odds makers have Alabama the favorite, but Clemson is capable of winning.
