Warnings of Hurricane Dorian and it’s potential has been on media for days now. However, some things have not been mentioned.
I wanted to share some insight I learned from life’s storms.
Tips for any storm from this southern momma:
Fear not. – Isaiah 41:10, John 14:27, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 6:34, Psalm 23:4
Think. – Find ways of how you can be prepared for any storm. There is plenty of information out there on the internet and in your communities on how to be prepared. Educate yourself.
Act. – Do not stay somewhere you are not safe just because it is comfortable. Your comfort zone could kill you. Clean up. Store your fly-a-ways. If it’s outside and can blow away tie it down or move it to shelter. Stock up on supplies. Don’t wait until it’s unsafe to travel. Take shelter.
