The Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy’s John L. Foye Drill Team competed in the North Brunswick Scorpion High School Tri -Meet. The team finished first overall in the Drill Meet portion of the competition. They competed against 17 other schools from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

C/MAJ Stanari Ballard commanded Armed Inspection, Squad Exhibition, and Platoon Exhibition Armed which all finished in first place. Ballard also commanded Regulation Platoon Armed which finished in second place.

C/LTC Iyanna McAllister commanded Platoon Exhibtion Unarmed which finished in first place. McAllister also commanded the Regulation Platoon Unarmed which finished in second place.

The Exhibition Duet Armed consisted of C/CSM Maria Baza and C/SSG Elijah Hayes finished in first place. Baza also commanded Regulation Squad Armed which finished in third place.

The Foye Rifles will travel to Jacksonville, Florida this week where they will compete in the National Society of Black Jacks drill meet. The National Society of Black Jacks is the high school affiliate of the National Society of Pershing Rifles.
