Payton Brian Davis, a member of Boy Scout Troop 212, has earned the rank of Eagle, the Highest rank awarded by the Boy Scouts of America, on September 27th, 2015.Davis earned 27 merit badges and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow-the National Honor Society of Scouting. He served as Den Chief and Librarian. Davis attended summer camps at Camp Daniel Boone, Camp Powhaton and Camp Raven Knob..
For his Eagle Scout service project he built and installed duck boxes at the Lock and Dam #1 in Riegelwood, NC. He also served as President of the New Hanover High School Ducks Unlimited Club.
Davis is the son of Tim and Lorrie Davis of Wilmington, NC. The grandson of the Mrs. Jane Davis (and the late, R Jack Davis) of Wilmington and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Macon of Riegelwood.
