Cadets from the Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy participated in a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Ceremony on Veterans Day. 

During the ceremony, the Cadets were also inducted into the National Society of Blackjacks which is the high school affiliate of the National Society of Pershing Rifles. Their induction was supervised by Major General R. Higgins, a Pershing Rifle’s alumnus from Hofstra University.  This ceremony was held at General of the Armies John J. Pershing’s grave. 

The Cadets also laid a wreath at his grave. In addition, Cadet Passion Graham was selected to lay a wreath at the grave of CPL William Buckles, the last living soldier of World War I.

The Cadets witnessed a changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and toured the capital on Sunday.
