ELIZABETHTOWN – Jake Lewis fired a season-best 82 Monday to lead East Bladen to a 3rd place finish in the Southeastern Athletic Conference golf tournament at Vineyard Golf.
Lewis tied for 6th best individual round with Midway’s John Michael Best. Midway’s Caden Best copped medalist honors with a 68.

Midway captured 1st place with a team score of 294. Clinton finished in 2nd place with a 328 total. East Bladen was third with a team total score of 361. West Bladen placed 4th with a 376 score. Other teams were: Red Springs (418) and Fairmont (425).
Following Lewis’ 82 among the East Bladen scores were: Bailey Williams (89), Connor Britt (94) and Chase Knight (96).
West Bladen’s Trenton Meares tied Williams for 9th place in the individual scoring with an 89. Other West Bladen golfers included: Isaac Mendoza (91), Elijah Crabtree (97), Daniel Gustafson (99) and Chase Gordon (119).
The SAC-7 Championship Tournament will be played at Vineyard Golf on April 25th.
