Two Pizza Hut employees were robbed at gunpoint Thursday night in the parking lot of the Elizabethtown restaurant, says interim Police Chief Kip Hester.
As the employees were walking toward their vehicle about 11 p.m., a man armed with a handgun ordered them into the vehicle, Hester said. The man took items from the employees and also took the restaurant’s nightly deposit before ordering the victims to drive him about two miles before he got out of the vehicle, Hester said.
The restaurant employees were not harmed, Hester said.
