Pledge of Allegiance not on agenda for Bladen County Board of Elections meeting

The Bladen County Board of Elections will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 5 p.m. Director Mr. Christopher L. Williams, released the meeting’s agenda on Monday afternoon. Action items on the agenda are approval of One-Stop Workers and Approval of Election Day Workers.

Although the board has been requested to stand and recite Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America after the Invocation on the agenda, the item has not been added to the agenda. At a previous board meeting board member, Ms. Deborah Belle suggested any board member wanting to add the pledge to the agenda should not approve the agenda without the plege being listed.
