The Politician’s Appreciation Banquet is set for Saturday, March 5 at Lu Mil Vineyard. U.S. 9th District Congressman Robert Pittinger (pictured) is expected to attend. Candidates from several counties have been invited and representatives from the Democratic and Republican gubernatorial candidates are expected to be in attendance. All judicial candidates within the district have said they plan to attend.
The public is invited to meet with the candidates on the ballot for the March 15 primary.
During the event, the silver dollar that was flipped to determine the Clarkton Town Board commissioner’s seat will be auctioned and the money raised will be donated to charity.
