The first annual Pork and Beats Festival is under way at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown. Everyone is invited to the public celebration.
The event kicked off with a Pig Cookoff won by the Porkaholics. Second place was Rudy Lennon and third place went to Richard Sling Shaw.
There will be love entertainment throughout the day. Vendors are also set up with handmade jewelry, food, wood crafts, decorations, Lula Roe and more.
The Blackwater Rhythm and Blues Band will perform at 4 p.m.
The Pork and Beats Festival will continue until 6 p.m.
