The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close Porter Road Tuesday in order to replace a problematic crossline pipe located 0.13 miles from NC 53. The road will be closed through Friday.
Also, NC DOT Road Oil crews are placing chip seals on all the roads in the Kelly / NC 11 area. Ken Clark, of the NC DOT, said, “Slow down when driving on a freshly placed chip seal as there will be loose gravel for about two days.”
