Spread the love

potty patrol 1The Potty Patrol started their fundraiser for Bladen County Relay for Life last year. “In one week prior to the relay last year, we raised right at $10,000 in just six days.” Ashely Norris, one of the group organizers reported.

This is their second year, and they are starting earlier this year in hopes of increased donations. The rules from last year apply this year. The potty can be placed in someone’s yard or moved from your yard for a $10 donation. If you have a potty in your yard and want to pass the potty to a friend’s yard, donate $20. Give a $30 donation and the potty won’t come back to your yard this year.

“Please keep in mind that we try to move it as quickly as possible. However, it you wake up with the potty in your yard, please do not destroy it. Give us a call and we will pick it up.” Norris said. She also reminds folks, “If you see a white van pull up and hear a horn blow, please don’t shoot it’s just the potty patrol on the move.”
