A malfunctioning heater led to a call to the fire department on Thursday evening by the Elizabethtown Nursing Center.
“There never was a fire,” said Administrator Lori Barrow. She said the incident ocurred when a heater in one room malfunctioned. Barrow said the staff evacuated patients on the affected hall as a precaution and no one was injured.
Barrow saids the fire department was called to the scene but the incident was isolated to one room.
