Janice Grimes, the founder of Quilts of Compassion, will be handing out quilts to Hurricane Florence disaster survivors Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 10 am. at the Bladen Disaster Relief Distribution Site (the former Paul Sessoms building) in Elizabethtown.
Disaster survivors will need to fill out a simple form, and should bring a FEMA letter or something to show they were impacted, along with a valid ID. Quilts will be distributed to those who haven’t already received one, and they are limited to one per family.
