West Bladen grad Rahu Purdie and his Lander Bearcats will be at UNC-Pembroke Saturday for a 3 p.m. game against the Braves which will be the Bearcats Peach Belt Conference opener.
Purdie has started all 8 games for the Bearcats who have posted a 6-2 record. The White Oak native is averaging 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
