Rahu Purdie’s 22 Points Keys Lander Win

GREENWOOD, SC – White Oak native Rahu Purdie fired in 22 points Monday to lead Lander to a 95-76 Peach Belt Conference men’s basketball victory over Clayton State.

Purdie connected on 16 of 18 free throws and dished out 5 assists in the game. On Jan. 19th, the senior guard tossed in 8 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and was credited with 3 assists in an 80-64 loss to Georgia College.

North Georgia will visit Lander Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. Purdie leads the Bearcats with 3.5 assists per game and is the team’s second leading scorer with a 12.1 average.
