RED SPRINGS – Red Springs pounded out 13 hits Wednesday en route to a 10-0 Three Rivers Conference jayvee baseball victory over West Bladen.

Freshman Bryley Williams slammed a double and a single to lead the Knight hitters. Freshman Alex Strange belted two singles, and Chris Bailey and freshmen Josh Russ and Kaiden Stanley connected for one hit each.

Strange started on the mound for the Knights and worked 3 innings allowing 5 runs – one earned – on 7 hits while striking out one. Williams pitched an inning giving up 5 runs – one earned – on 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out one. Freshman Brycen Blackmon pitched 0.2 scoreless innings and gave up 2 hits. Russ retired the only batter that he faced.

Seven Knight errors led to the eight unearned Red Devil runs.
