On Saturday, December 9 a fund raising golf tournament will be held to support the reelection campaign of Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker. The tournament registration will be held at 9 a.m. with a starting time of 10 a.m. It will be a Captain’s Choice event with a entry fee of $400 per team. Sponsorships are available in the denominations of (Gold) $500, (Silver) $250, and (Bronze) $100. Personal checks only will be accepted.
There will be a car given away for a hole-in-one on a designated hole. A long drive contest and a closest to the pin contest will also be held. Door prizes will be given away with free gifts and a lunch available.
