Today is the final day for you to register to vote in the upcoming May primary.

Bladen County Board of Elections Director Cynthia Shaw said those who wish to change their political party affiliation or who are needing to register to vote have until 5 pm today (Friday, April 13) to do so.

Shaw also said North Carolina now recognizes the Green Party. She explained this means voters now have another choice for political party affiliation. Now you can register as Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or Green party. One other designation voters can choose is to remain unaffiliated.
Shaw said this is also the time to update voter registration changes such as a change of name or a change of address.

You can be complete these changes or ask questions about your voter registration at the Bladen County Board of Elections office located at 301 South Cypress Street in Elizabethtown.
