Christmas time has arrived. Dads and moms may be looking for something to keep the children busy and fed. The Reindeer Food Bait recipe is perfect for having fun with kids in the kitchen and is a favorite big crowd treat.

This recipe makes about 24 servings.

Here is what you will need:

Wax paper

1 – package miniature pretzels

1 – package crispy corn cereal squares – Corn Chex® for example

1 – jar dry-roasted peanuts

1 – package candy-coated milk chocolate pieces – M&M’s® candy for example

24 – ounces white chocolate chips

Salt to taste

Once you have your supplies, you will do the following steps:

Step 1 – Tap wax paper across the counter or table measuring about 2 feet by 2 feet.

Step 2 – In a large bowl, mix miniature pretzels, corn cereal, peanuts, chocolate candy, and salt to taste.  

Step 3 – Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second increments until all the chocolate is melted.  

Step 4 – Stir in the melted white chocolate into the large bowl with the dry mix until well covered.

Step 5 – Pour the food bait on the wax paper, pat down to thin layer and let cool.

Step 6 – Enjoy!
