Bladen County Emergency Management officials are asking residents to stay off the roadways in Bladen County until Hurricane Florence passes. Trees are down throughout the county creating hazardous driving conditions.

There has been at least one report of a tree  falling on a house in Elizabethtown as a result of the storm.

There are also power outages occurring in Bladen County as well. Duke Energy is reporting outages in White Lake, Dublin, Elizabethown, Bladenboro, Abbottsburg, Tar Heel, Clarkton, and East Arcadia areas. IF you are a Duke Energy customer, call  800-419-6356.

Four County Electric is reporting 52 percent of their customers, or 5,663 residents in Bladen County are currently without power. If you are a Four County Electric customer, call (888) 368-7289 to report an outage by phone.
