On June 13, 2017 Bladen County School system honored it’s recent retirees at a year-end luncheon. Of the 15 retirees present, they served in education for 387 years. The total years served by all of this year’s 21 BCS retirees is well over 500 years.

Ms. Katie Johnson, Bookkeeper of Plain View Primary School had the most years served with 42, all of which were at Plain View Primary School.
