Forecasters with the National Weather Service office in Wilmington are warning beach goers to be aware of the possibility of rip currents developing this weekend. According to National Weather Service Meteorologist Mark Bacon, Tropical Storm Florence is still churning in a west-northwest direction and is expected to continue that movement through the next few days.
Residents in North and South Carolina are encouraged to continue to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Florence.
